Power Brokers whack Adis Sportswear

CEBU, Philippines - Romy Cal returned to the coaching fold on a bright note as he piloted the CSD Power Brokers to an 84-74 drubbing of Adis Sportswear at the start of the 1st M. Lhuillier Kwarta Padala Cup basketball tournament at the USC gym.             

The Power Brokers rebuffed the spirited comeback by Adis Sportswear late in the fourth period behind the endgame resiliency of Jaren Kane Abatayo and Jerry Jaca.

It was Aldrin Ocañada though who paced the Power Brokers with 24 points, 15 of them coming in the second period.                

Jaca added 18 points followed by Abatayo with 15.

The high-leaping Edu Bungaciso led the Adis Sportswear with 21 points.
