Managuit, Baltonado, Britania bag 3-man title in Cebu City Darts Open

CEBU, Philippines – Eugene Managuit, Dilay Baltonado and Kenneth Britania topped the three-man classified category of the Cebu City Hall Employees Darts Association (CHEDA)-organzied Cebu City Darts Open 2009 at the Coon Grill in PASEO. They went home with P4,500.

Odong Pamatian, Junnix Perez and Lanie Ganido got P2,200 for finishing second, while Ronald Dequit, Isma Lumantano and Jonathan Rubi pocketed P1,500 for landing third.

The tandem of Roger Dequit and Jerome Perales, on the other hand, went home P3,000 richer for dominating the doubles category.

The second place honors went to Etong Badayon and McRoss Anora, who received P1,500, while William Encorporado and Tom Belleza received P1,000 for placing third.

Christopher Daclan stole part of the show by ruling the youth singles event. He earned P1,000. Anthony Nobe and Lucky Daclan won P700 and P500 for winding up second and third, respectively.

The three-day tilt was a dry run for the upcoming National Darts Federation Championships also at the Coon Grill either late April or early May.

The organizers led by CHEDA president Bert Colong thanked the Paseo management and Senator Manny Villar for backing up the competition.
