Amancia Brokers reach 35-below final in Collector's Cup

CEBU, Philippines - The Amancia Brokers won by default over the SUGBO Brokers to set up a championship showdown with the Assessment Division in the 35-below division of the 14th District Collector’s Cup basketball tournament at the Don Vicente Sotto Memorial Sports Complex.

The Amancia-Assessment knockout final will take place on February 25.

In a no-bearing match in the 35-below category, the MJDL Brokers defeated the Assessment, 93-86.

The best MJDL could do is to play for third place against the Pimntel Brokers. It will be the Mactan Hotmen and the Office of the Commissioner (O-COM) who will dispute the 35-above crown.

Baeng Medalle topscored with 21 points for MJDL of team owner Mike Logarta.

 Pint-sized forward Arnel Trinidad, the president of F. Llamas Youth Association (FYA), led the Assessment with 17 points.
