Rotary Week to feature running event
CEBU – This year’s Rotary Week will feature a running event at the Cebu Business Park on February 22.Carrying the theme “A green walk, run for wellness”, the race is open to all including non-Rotarians.
The participants have the option to join any of the three race lengths: one kilometer, 5K and 10K.
More than 500 runners are expected to participate, the bulk of which comes from the big family of Rotarians.
Cash prizes and medals will be given away to the top 10 finishers in both the male and female categories.
A finisher’s certificate will also be handed out to all the runners who will be able to cross the finish line.
Registration fee is pegged at P150 inclusive of a singlet.
The singlets and race kits can be claimed starting on February 16 until the 21s at Freestar Arcade situated beside the Nikkie Garden Hotel in Brgy. Subangdaku, Mandaue City.—Caecent No-ot Magsumbol (THE FREEMAN)
