USPF, PNHS in semis of Shakey's V-League

Cebu - Defending champions, University of Southern Philippines Foundation (USPF) and Pajo National High School (PNHS) snatched semifinal tickets after topping their respective brackets yesterday in the 4th Shakey’s Girls Volleyball League at the USPF gym.

 The Jordan Paca-mentored USPF remained undefeated with 4-0 slate in their campaign for a fourth title this year after trouncing Don Gerardo National High School (DGNHS) 25-7, 25-12, in Group A.

“With the performance that the girls showed in their past matches and until now, I guess we have brighter chances in getting our fourth title this year. But, lingin ang bola, we really don’t know what will happen. I just hope that the girls will do their best for the team,” said Coach Paca after the game.

On the other hand, Pajo National High School topped bracket B by trouncing Asian Learning Center 25-5, 25-10.

In the crossover semis on January 31, USPF will play Abellana National School (ANS) while PNHS takes on DGNHS.
