C.A.R.S. show rolls off today at Park Mall

Cebu - The first event for automobiles in Cebu for 2009 unfolds today through the Cebu Auto and Racing Show(C.A.R.S) at the Park Mall in Mandaue City reclamation area.

CARS will run for four days featuring four different competitions.

The event starts off with the car show inside the mall followed by the sound off in the later part of the day.

Organizers refused to reveal the kind of cars that will be out for the car show and even the participants, making the event a highly-anticipated one.

The competition includes the best in show, paint, interior and engine display, best in stock, best dressed, best European, Japanese, American and classic.

On the other hand, the sound off contest will have the two-way and three-way categories. Judging will based on their installation qualities, tones and measurements.

After the car show and sound off will be the race for autocross and karting wherein out-of-towners are set to challenge the Cebuano riders. – Caecent No-ot Magsumbol (THE FREEMAN)
