Cebuano cyclists gear up for 7th Cebu Recycle series

CEBU - The Cebuano pedal-pushers are gearing up for the highly-anticipated Cebu Recycle-Luzvimin-USA Race Series slated on January 31 from Toledo City to Buak, this city.

Now on its seventh year, the event popularly known as “Tour Ni Frank” will test the local racers’ might as they go for a very taxing ride from Toledo to Buak through the Transcentral highway.

In the past few years, TnF, led by one of Cebu’s cycling godfathers Frank Gatdula, had been including a ride to Transcentral Highway, but only for a fun ride. This time, a real competition will be taking place.

The categories of the event initially include class B, C and the golden boys or for those 50 years old and above entries.

Cash prizes and other freebies will be given away to the top performers.

Non-winners, however, will have something to look forward to at the finish line as the organizers have prepared some special items for the raffle draw. – Caecent No-ot Magsumbol   (THE FREEMAN)
