CESAFI stars rout Singapore in HK tilt

The Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation, Inc. (CESAFI) All-Stars demolished Singapore, 75-60, in the 17th Kung Sheung Invitational Basketball Tournament yesterday at the Queen Elizabeth Stadium in Hong Kong.

No other details were reported about the victory e-mailed to The Freman by Hong Kong-based team tournamnet official Eugene Fong.

Alfred Belande of SWU Cobras and June Mar Fajardo of UC the Webmasters each scored 15 points to lead the CESAFI’s finest stars.

Also scoring in double figures were Manny Gabas and Jabe Delfino both of the USJ-R Jaguars.

Ranulfo Malinao, also of the Jaguars, had nine points, Art Diango of SWU had six, Armand Ponce had four and Eulogio Lasala, Jr. and John Emel Rowe had two points apiece. (GGM)
