Odulio powers USC-North All-Stars to victory

CEBU - Edmund Odulio posted a game-high 28 points to power the USC North All-Stars to a 68-57 victory over the Jeson Guardo-sponsored Black Team in the opening game of the 8th University of San Carlos-Basic Education Department South Campus Parents Teachers Community Association, Inc. (USC-BED SC PTCA, Inc.) basketball tournament at the USC-South Campus covered court.

Since the USC North All-Stars are listed as guest team in a tournament backstopped by PTCA-South led by its president Dr. Hermes, Ibon, the win was still credited to the Black squad.

Arnold Libre, who had a measly four-point production in the first half, paced Black 19 points.

Iming Gutierrez added 13 points, while Rolado Adarna, the UC Webmasters statistician, scored 10 points for Black.

The USC South-PTCA hoopfest will resumes this Sunday afternoon after the Pacquaio-De la Hoya "Dream Match."
