CIIB guns down Red in LAYA hoop event

CEBU - The Criminal Intelligence and Investigation Bureau (CIIB) led by police superintendent George Ylanan foiled Red team’s bid for a 2-0 lead by scoring a 75-69 win in the the Labangon Youth Association (LAYA) 1st Ritchie Osmeña Cup at the Labangon Sports Complex.

In the other game, Yellow edged Maroon, 82-80, to also prevent the latter from making a 2-0 start.

Glenn Bugtai paced CIIB with 17 points, while Dexter Dagatan topped Red with 31 points.

Later in the night, Glady’s Mantilla scattered 34 points to lead Yellow’s offense.

So far, only the Trisha & Tracy squad remains unbeaten in two games.
