Fajardo leads overall winners in OZR racing

CEBU - The unstoppable Zandro Fajardo emerged as the overall champion in the expert open category of theOZR Underbone Circuit Racing 2008 Series at the north reclamation area in Mandaue City .

Fajardo garnered a total of 90 points at the end of the year-round race, while Robert Paul Mencias and Arnell Fajardo occupied the second and third spots with 80 and 61 points, respectively.

Rounding up the top nine placers were Jessie Garcia (49), Jerome Borden (45), Seth Capuras (42), Eduardo Borden (13), RJ Manlisi (13) and Robbie Enriquez (11).

In the novice open, Robert Paul Mencias claimed the title with 95 points followed by Robbie Enriquez (59), RJ Manlisi (49), Arnell Fajardo (45) and Jaypee Gado (45).

Eduardo Borden (33), Jessie Garcia (22), Andrei Ursal (16), Christopher Pardenilla (13), Oliver Suarez (13), Jerome Borden (13), and Niño Surban (11) completed the top 12 cast.

Lyndon Requilme reigned supreme in beginners 110cc category with 90 points. Kenneth Ouano finished second with 65 markers followed by Joshua Abellar (50), Reman Colina (33), and Melchor Querobin (27).

Finishing sixth to 13th were Gary Cañeda (27), Nelson Mayol (26), Mario Borbon (25), Jess Louie Vega (20), Moises Monus (16), Archie Lopez (13), Elte Adel Sanchez (11) and Julieto Espra (11).

In the beginners 125cc, Kenneth Ouano took home the championship with 102 points. Reman Colina Joshua Abellar were at joint second and third with identical 45 points.

Forming part of the top 11 were Raul Keken Cabahug (39), Nelson Mayol (31), Mario Borbon (25), Gian Carlo Himalaloan (24), Lyndon Requillme (22), Alejandra Gado (20), Walter Bastin (16) and Jonas Vincent Tan (13).

Andrie Ursal, on the other hand, ruled the enduro super motard race with 83 points. The rest of the top finishers were Nelson Sicad (60), Robbie Enriquez (45), Genie Faelnar (32), Zandro Fajardo, Robert Paul Mencias (25), Pepo Rubi (25), Donkey Sanchez (24), Arnel Fajardo (20), Ean Reyes (16) and Mark Capoy (13).

Despite placing last in the enduro super motard, Capoy still has something to brag about as he lorded it over in the mix automatic category with 75 points. Moises Monus was a far second with 33 points followed by Raul Keken Cabahug (29), Miro Gilbert (24), Seth Capuras (20), Kenneth Ouano (20), Lyndon Requilme (16), Aldren Alivio (16), Nelson Mayol (11) and Marlon Balbuena (11). – THE FREEMAN
