DBTC-PTCA inaugural sportsfest starts

CEBU – Six teams from the Don Bosco Technology Center (DBTC) community will vie for the championship of the 1st DBTC-PTCA sports festival that kicks off today at the DBTC gym in Labangon, this city.

With the theme, “Victory with Honor,” the six teams will compete in futsal, badminton, basketball and volleyball in both and women’s division. Futsal and badminton games start today while the basketball and volleyball events will start next Saturday.

The sports festival starts with the presentation and parade of teams namely Team A (Aqua Blue), Team B (Orange), Team C (Pink), Team D (Yellow Gold), Team E (Red) and Team F (Emeral Green).

Nimrod Quiñones, managing editor of The FREEMAN, will lead the oath of sportmanship,while DBTC Rector Fr. Ronald Guiao opens the event. — Marigold P. Lebumfacil (THE FREEMAN)
