Pilar moves to crossover round in Cluster 5

CEBU – Defending Cluster 5 champion Pilar moves to the cross-over round of the 4th Governor Gwen Garcia Unity Volleyball Cup for Women in Sogod today.

Pilar advances to the next round after tallying a 3-0 record in Cluster 5 matches. Pilar first dumped Tudela 25-6, 25-5, beat Poro 25-8, 25-22, then prevailed over San Francisco 25-17, 25-20.

San Francisco made it to the crossover round nevertheless after accumulating a 2-1 record. San Francisco got the better of Poro 25-17, 25-14, and then crushed Tudela 25-12, 25-9.

Sogod and Catmon will play for the number seeding in Cluster 5A. The winner will play San Francisco while the loser faces off with Pilar.
