In the juniors division, the LAVO quintent crushed NT-777, 93-70, while the Marbebs Fighter blasted the winless LSB, 109-70.
Gabrielle and Jeff Lawrence engaged in a nip-and-tuck battle from start to finish. Alvin Tura of Jeff Lawrence scored on a lay-up to tie the count for the last time, 89-all, with 23 ticks left before the final buzzer.
In the ensuing play, Renan Aupe split his chairites to give Gabrielle a 90-89 lead and then Jerby Dejacto completed a fastbreak play off a steal to ice Gabrielle’s win.
