MOVE MASSKARA RUN
When this column comes out I’m probably streaking to festival-bound Bacolod City to direct the Move Masskara 5K Run on October 19. The run is being organized by the Philippine Academy of Rehab Medicine (PARM) to raise funds for persons with disabilities (PWDs). Already confirming their participation are the Silay Runners, Iloilo Oval Runners, La Salle, and Laoste Runners of Dr. Gil Octaviano, Bacolod’s oldest runner. Right after the race I’m off for Iloilo to guest in Councilor Joe Espinosa III tv program “Tatak Ilonggo”. However we won’t be talking about sports I’ll be appearing as Elvis. With all these non-stop activities, my New York-based doctor brother Jun Uytiepo, said he is buying a tranquilizer gun to shoot me. He even suspects I have ADD. (THE FREEMAN)
