Badian, two others lead Cluster 2B

CEBU – The first day of action in Cluster 2B of the 4th Governor Gwen Garcia Unity Volleyball Cup for Women in Moalboal is turning out to be unpredictable as could be.

After two games, defending champion Badian, Alegria and Moalboal are all sporting a 2-0 card. With three games left, however, Alcantara, Ronda and Dumanjug, could still upset the top teams.

Badian opened its title-retention bid by beating Ronda 25-9, 25-20, and then logged its second win by halting Dumanjug 25-13, 25-20.

Alegria came from a set down to outsmart Alcantara 10-25, 25-18, 25-17 for its first victory and then stopped Ronda 25-13, 25-20 for its second win.
