CEBU - Non-stop gun shots will be heard the whole day today in Maghaway, Talisay with the staging of the 3rd Gullas Cup Shootfest at the Talisay Aqua City Gun Club.
Over a hundred enthusiasts from different gun clubs and privateers all over the country are expected to show up for the IPSC-PPSA sanctioned and level I classified event.
Leading the cast of competitors in the two-day shootfest are the members of the Talisay Aqua City Gun Club led by Talisay City Vice Mayor Aberdovey Belleza.
A short opening ceremony will take place with no less Cebu First District Rep. Eduardo “Eddiegul” R. Gullas as the honored guest.
It was be followed by the range officer’s match and then the regular shooter’s contest.
The competition will be divided into different classes:open, modified, standard, production and revolver standard.
The shooters will go through seven stages named ‘wherever you go’, ‘dive show’, ‘running man’, ‘showtime’, ‘pop it’, ‘plate and poppers’ and ‘setdown shooters.’ –Caecent No-ot Magsumbol . (THE FREEMAN)
