MOVE 5K Run meeting held in SM
CEBU - Organizers led by Dr. Renald Peter Ramiro met at Chika-an Restaurant recently to discuss some matters regarding the MOVE 5K Run dubbed as “Heroes Run” slated on Nov. 30 at Mandaue City.
Among the issues discussed were the venue, singlet design, press conference, registration and registration fees and event categories.
During the meeting, Dr. Ramiro announced that the start/finish for this year’s MOVE 5K Run would be the Park Mall, the newest mall in Cebu.
Dr. Ramiro also presented the singlet design and said that the registration for the fund raising run will start on October 15. Interested parties may register at Dr. Ramiro’s office at Cebu Doctors’ University Hospital, Dept. of Rehab Medicine, PSC Office at the Cebu City Sports Complex and at the Dean’s Office of the Cebu Doctors’ Hospital, Department of Rehab Medicine.
Registration fee is P200, inclusive of singlet, for the men’s, women’s open and the wheelchair division.
The press conference for this running event will be on November 5 at Park Mall.
Proceeds of this run will go to the PARM illness fund for persons with disabilities (PWDs). Last year, a total of P120,000 was raised during the initial MOVE 5K Run. - THE FREEMAN
