- Sallydine Siso leads cast of outstanding athletes -

CEBU – Sallydine Siso of the University of San Carlos-South Campus leads the cast of Most Outstanding Athletes (MOA) in the 13th Milo Little Olympics after winning the secondary lawn tennis event.

Siso overpowered May Anne Miñoza of UV to claim her second straight girls singles title. Siso, this year, has won the Milo Junior Cup, Gullas U16 championship and the CVRAA doubles title.

Ed Adrian Parangan, an 11-year-old pupil of Nangka Elementary School in Balamban, Cebu took the honor in the elementary lawn tennis competition.

Jeann Racoma of the University of Cebu and Mirlou Baring of San Nicolas Elementary School were the outstanding athletes in athletics. Racoma bagged three gold medals in secondary division athletics by winning the 100m, 200m and 400m hurdles. Baring, on the other hand, ruled the elementary athletics with three golds as well.

The other outstanding athletes are Niño Medalle of Pardo Elementary School for volleyball, Ded Matthew Daclan of Jack and Jill School-Bacolod City for taekwondo and Pericles Dakay Jr. of PAREF-Springdale for football. — Marigold P. Lebumfacil (THE FREEMAN)
