Wagas rules maiden Danao Motor Show

-

Clark Wagas found himself above everyone else after winning the MS Motosuit-presented 1st Danao Motor Show the other day in Danao City.

Wagas, one of the best intermediate riders in Cebu, dared to compete again in the experts class as well as the other upcoming racers.

It was a wise decision for Wagas as he emerged victorious in the experts division. He edged out John Flores, while Pepo Rubi could only make it to third place this time.

Still, Flores went home happy as he topped the open production after besting Keith Galaura and Ryan Quirol, who settled for second and third, respectively.

Quirol also did not go home empty-handed as he dominated the open enduro category. Chuck Eraminof wound up second followed by Russel Gungob.

Jun Enriquez outsmarted Jun-Jun Quirol to rule the executive division, while James Batad won the pantra division. Mark Capoy was the best in the all-Danao race and PJ Pepito in the mini class.

The event, which was among the highlights of Danao’s annual fiesta celebration next month, was organized by Elvie Lauro, Pit Rosales and the Tugonon barangay council in association with Govenor Gwen Garcia, Rep. Red Durano, the city government of Danao led by mayor Ramon “Nito” Durano III, and Imarflex Battery Manufacturing.– Caecent No-ot Magsumbol
