Worldwide Steel keeps SHABA lead

Worldwide Steel kept its hold of the solo lead with a 71-64 drubbing of Hilton in the 2008 Sacred Heart Alumni Basketball Association (SHABA) season at the Sacred Heart School-Jesuit gym.

It was Worldwide Steel’s seventh victory in eight starts.

Samsung, on the other hand, spared no mercy in whipping MTO, 101-57. In the other games, Whitegold shackled HCG Castrol, 58-41, while Hope Options escaped with a 65-62 victory over Pier 1.

Samsung is breathing down Worldwide’s neck with a 6-1 win-loss record, while Home Options and Whitegold are at joint third place with similar 5-2 slates.
