Wildkittens humiliate Dragons
The Cebu Institute of Technology (CIT) Wildkittens last night walloped the Cebu Eastern Dragons (CEC) Dragons, 112-71, in what is by far the most lopsided victory in the juniors division of the 8th Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation, Inc. (CESAFI) basketball season at the Cebu Coliseum.
Thus, the Wildkittens moved to solo third place in the overall standings with a 3-2 win-loss record behind the defending champion University of the Visayas (UV) Baby Lancers (5-0) and the University of Cebu (UC) Junior Webmasters (3-1).
The outcome of the match was already a foregone conclusion as early in the second period when the Mark Jayven Tallo -led Wildkittens mounted an imposing 51-27 lead at halftime.

The Dragons have no one else to blame for the humiliating defeat than themslves as they showed little resistance to the unforgiving offense of the CIT bantams.
Tallo finished with 14 points, but it was Noel Onting who topscored for the Wildkittens with 15 points. Bridrick Brigoili and Jeffrey Tahoy pitched in 23 points combined. Actually, all 14 players fielded in by coach Andot Fuentes scored, underscoring CIT’s balanced offensive.
