Underbone series today in Guadalupe

Cebu’s underbone motorcycle enthusiasts test their skills anew with the staging of the 3rd Underbone Dirt Rallycross Series in Guadalupe.

Today’s action will be among more than 50 enthusiasts that will race in an off-road circuit especially laid out for underbone motorcycles. Underbone motorcycles are motorcycles that are hybrid between scooters and motorcycles. They usually built around a singular tube (or underbone) that supports the whole vehicle.

Underbone motorcycles are popular in the country for their low cost, handling, reliability and fuel efficiency.

Underbone motorcycle competitions had gained popularity in Cebu for sometime now. Local organizers stage different competitions here to give speed demons a place to display their skills and avoid drag racing along roads and highways. — Caecent No-ot Magsumbol
