Jimenez dominates Talisay skimboarding

Arjun Jimenez added a champion’s trophy to his collection after dominating the National Skimboarding Open Competition-Go to the Extreme 2 recently at the Malayan Resort in Talisay City.

Jimenez garnered a score of 2.1 to snatch the open division title. He was ahead by just .1 over first runner-up Odilio “Dagz” Hermosa.

Jimenez, thus, proved that his victory in another national invitational competition in Leyte was no fluke.

Junmark Rufo got the third spot with a 1.8 rating, while John Rex “Dandoy” Tonco settled for fourth with a score of 1.7.

In the distaff side, Mae Ann Dela Riarte defended her title after posting 2.3 points. Her closest rival Kara Getigan finished second with 2.2 points.

Claudette Laspiñas came out third followed by Mae Ann Payin in the event spearheaded by the Talisay City Sangguniang Kabataan Federation.—Caecent No-ot Magsumbol
