Paintball, just like airsoft, is an extreme sport. The main goal of a paintball game is to eliminate the other members of the team. The game has a core of loyal enthusiasts in the city that play on a regular basis.

Paintball quickly gained popularity in the 1981 when Sports Illustrated published a story of one the very first paintball games participated by some 12 players including some of the magazine’s writers and editors. Later, they put together some rules and paintball as an extreme sport was born.

By the 1990’s, the game caught the attention of all sports media in the US with ESPN covering the first tournament games.

Opening day rites on Saturday include a blessing of the facility at 11:00 am, lunch at 11:30, and games starting at 1:00 pm.

After the opening of the Weboss Extreme Ground Paintball facility, it will offer complete equipment and services to paintball enthusiasts and those who would like to try the sport. The facility caters to a minimum of six and a maximum of 10 players.
