Tabotabo makes semis in California netfest

Cebuano netter Vince Marc Tabotabo stood tall and proud as he posted back-to-back wins to reach the semifinal round of the 2008 Twin Arbors Junior Open tennis tournament at the Twin Arbors Athletic Club in Lodi, North California.

Tabotabo opened his title bid with an impressive 6-0, 6-0 shutout of Sacramento’s Jeevanjot Sandhu in the boys 12-under division.

Tabotabo proceeded with a 6-3, 6-3 victory over the fourth seeded Kyle Pease of Mountain View, California.

Tabotabo will face next Jacob Zetin of El Dorado Hills for a final berth. He is expected to face rough-sailing against Zetlin, the top-ranked player in their class. – Caecent No-ot Magsumbol
