PRO-7 dominates Tacloban shootfest
The Police Regional Office (PRO)-7 bets held off their foes with finesse and excellent accuracy to emerge as overall champion in the Regional Director’s Cup Shooting Competition recently in
PRO-7, spearheaded by Police superintendent Arturo Evangelista, chief of the regional investigation and detection management divisision, also notc hed several individual honors.
SPO1 Christopher Panes led the charge after topping the revolver category. SPO1 Carlos Antiligando finished at second place.
The well-known SPO1 Adonis Dumpit missed his mark and settled only for third in the hi-cap lawman class.
SPO1 Lyndon Solatorio, for his part, wound up third place in the single stack lawnman category and fifth in the overall single stack category.
PRO-7’s female bet, SPO1 Gina Gacho, came out seventh overall in the single stack class. She got another medal for being a female entry.
Evangelista, who also got a medal for being the team leader, placed fifth in the overall hi-cap class. – Caecent No-ot Magsumbol
