SHABA 13th season on July 20

The Sacred Heart Alumni Basketball Association (SHABA) hopes to lure more teams to its 13th season that starts on July 20 at the Sacred Heart School-Jesuit gym at General Maxilom Avenue, this city.

This season will also have a new commissioner in Bobby Inoferio, who hosts a weekly sports forum at Baseline Restaurant aired by CCTN 47.

“Bobby Knight, as he is fondly called in the basketball community, brings into the group a wealth of experience from his vast accolades of successful accomplishments in basketball.  He will be manning the post with utmost integrity, in line with the vision of SHABA,” said Maynard Ortega, the incoming president of SHABA.

Interested parties may download the registration from SHABA new site www.theshaba.com. Completed forms, together with registration fee are due by July 1.
