RCAF, LBSM set up final battle
Team RCAF of Romy Faunillon outlasted Coke Zero of businessman Allan Lim, while LBSM overpowered the much-favored
Faunillon had 10 points in RCAF’s 106-92 victory over Coke Zero, while the LBSM salvaged an 87-76 decision over
RCAF relied on the deadly one-two punch of Dandre Baclay and Alwen Tabasa in booting Coke Zero out of the championship race. Baclay fired a season-high 30 points, while Tabasa charted 24 markers. Rommel Garcia and ex USJ-R Jaguar Freddie del Campo, now a CESAFI referee, connived for 20 points.
Robert Abasolo and Lito Navarro each had 28 points for Coke Zero.
In the other game, Rowel Sumalinog had a breakaway game scoring 30 points for LBSM, while the indefatigable Inting Bacalla and Bong Panique banged in 17 and 10 markers, respectively.
