Glenn "D' King" Aguilar showed that even he is trying out another motorcycle event, he is still the man to beat in motocross as he dumped his opponents to score a double victory in the fifth leg of the 2008 MS Motosuit Motocross Series billed as "Erwin Agustino Motocross Cup" the other day in Ayungon, Oriental Negros.
It was the first time that Aguilar joined two classes in the series. He used to race only in the special pro class whenever he is around.
This time, the expert riders let Aguilar join the race to the delight of spectators.
As expected, the MS Motosuit image model went unstoppable and bagged the title in style.
Irwin Uypitching placed second to Aguilar in both classes, showing he is back in the groove after coming off several months of temporary retirement due to injury. Wensor Famorca copped the third place honors.
Like Aguilar, Keiz BZ Motorsales main man Seigfred Ornopia and Castrol-Quickflight's Bonnie Bustillo also came up with twin wins.
Ornopia dominated the executive A and B, while Bustillo topped the local enduro and novice enduro.
Ornopia defeated Ramie Quitay for the executive A title, while Jun Enriquez landed third. He bested Gener Sicad and Quitay in the B action.
Behind Bustillo in the novice enduro were Elton See and Andrew Du, while trailing him in the local enduro were Butch Flores and Eljun Aldecoa.
Despite missing the champion's trophy in the experts and pro classes, Famorca still has something to brag about as he reigned supreme in the intermediate division. Clark Wagas wound up second followed by Weng Yapparcon.
Wagas, who is under Castrol-Quickflight, salvaged the novice production title after outclassing Rex Barbaso and Christopher Voss, while Voss ruled snatched the beginners production plum after fending off John Flores as Adam Uypitching.
Clark Wagas' father, Manuel, ruled the executive C overt Felipe Montejo and Gener Sicad, while Jojo Enriquez raced unopposed in the mini class.– Caecent No-ot Magsumbol
