Western Wats-1 nails second win in Call Center hoop

Western Wats-1 escaped with a 68-65 victory over sister-team Western Wats-2 in the 2008 Inter-Call Center Basketball Tournament at the City Sports Club-Cebu gym.

Western Wats- 2 wad ahead by 10 points at halftime, 31-21, but Western Wats-1 fired back in the third period using a searing 23-8 rally to grab the lead for good, 44-39, going into the final minutes of the contest.

Rhett Romeo Tomakin had 19 points, while Alain Alonzo and Dennis Noel Poquita chipped in12 markers as Western Wats-1 cruised to its second straight victory in as many games.

Ronald Heralde paced Western Wats- 2 with 18 points followed by Victor Bagares with 10.
