SWU split games in China goodwill
The Southwestern University (SWU) Cobras split their pair of goodwill games in
Last April 19, the Cobras bowed to host city Xiamen University, 75-82, at the Xiamen Sports Complex, but made up from that loss two days later by thrashing of the Jimei University, 69-56.
Lloyd Poligrates and Art Diango topped the Cobras with 12 points, while
Liu Yang was the lone double-digit scorer for
SWU team manager Ryan Aznar said they learned a lot from the Chinese basketball program during their brief stay in the country that is accounted for the world’s largest population.
