Milo Best Center Clinic launching today

The Milo Best Center Clinic 2008 will be formally launched in a press conference today at Siknoy Restaurant, just a stone’s throw away from Cebu Doctors’ University (CDU) in Mandaue City reclamation area.

Now on its 26th year of spearheading summer sports clinics, Milo has been conducting sports programs all over the country for over 30 years now.

The launch will be spearheaded by Nestle Philippines marketing promotions specialist Bless Villareal, the clinic’s Cebu leg coordinator Rico Navarro, and all the coaches of Milo Best schools.

Villareal and Navarro are expected to discuss the fun-filled activities and other related details of the summer camp.

At the same time, Villareal will be introduced to the local basketball coaches who are a part of Milo Best’s program.

The launching also serves as a venue for coaches to discuss some activities for youth basketball this year.

According to Navarro, there are 12 to 15 schools which are affiliated in the sports clinics, but they will get only six to seven schools to join the tournament that will culiminate the event sometime in August.– Methuselah C. Ramos, Silliman University MassCom Intern
