Lagman reaches q’final in Truflex tennis

Cebuano Jacob Lagman pulled off a pair of impressive victories to join Sally Mae Siso in the quarterfinal round of Truflex Age-Group Tennis Championships yesterday at the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex tennis courts in Manila.

Lagman, eager to bounce back from his frustrating debacle in the Central Visayas Regional Athletic Association (CVIRAA) Meet, clobbered his foes in dominating fashion.Lagman kicked out Mark Escares, 6-1, 6-1, and then dumped Lexter Quitara, 6-1, 6-0.

Sally Mae Siso, meanwhile, shoots for a semifinal spot when she battles Crizzable Paulino this morning. – Caecent No-ot Magsumbol
