DMP-Mitsubishi subdues Roble Shipping
The DMP-Mitsubishi let loose a strong endgame kick to sink Roble Shipping Lines, 78-69, in the Vic Enterprises 2008 Invitational Cup basketball tournament at the CEC gym.
A total of three games were played last Sunday. The two other teams drew a bye and will debut on March 30 yet.
The others teams which saw action in the season-opening games were Golden Lines of Vic Enterprises commissioner George Uy against Cyber Rasta of skipper Boy Maranga and Ave Maria of team captain Raffy Senining versus Unilink lea by captain ball Cromwell Kwan.
The Cebu Lite Trading of skipper Dr. Boy Te and the 100 Plus Isotonic Drink of team captain Frank Estorba enjoyed a bye.
Mitsubishi relied on the tandem of Dennis Jayme and Mat Zamora, who finished with 20 and 18 points, respectively.
