Pajo Selection dominated the entire game, with Allan Gear Sala leading the charge. Sala erupted with 28 points to snatch the Dewfoam Player of the Game honors.
Pajo joined the Don Bosco Greywolves and the Center for International Education (CIE) Lions into the second round. The CIE Lions lost in their final elimination round assignment to Hapee-Online Basketball Training Camp, 48-54, but it was already a non-bearing match for them as they’re already assured of a semis berth.
For the Training Specialists though, the upset victory was very important as it catapulted them to a sudden-death match against the USC Baby Warriors this Thursday, with the victor completing the four-team semifinal cast.
Meanwhile, the Hapee-Online Basketball Training Camp that will start on April 1 is now accepting applicants. For more information, one may call 256-2059 or 0928-6544797. — Caecent No-ot Magsumbol
