USC tankers lead Cebu team to nat’l PRISAA

The University of San Carlos leads the cast of the Central Visayas swimming team in the 2008 Private Schools Athletic Association (PRISAA) National Championships next month in Zamboanga City.

USC swimmers took half of the slots available for the Zamboanga competition.

Among the USC tankers that made it to the team are Dec Rowan Fernandez, Alexander Echavez, Jed Fernandez, and Joseph Roy Ababon in the men’s division with Katrina Rubi, Clanel Celerio, Gwencent Canada, and Kruzette Solijon for the women’s division. 

Two swimmers from UC, meanwhile also made it to the team with Diane Cañeda and Michael David Vega while Cebu Doctors’ University had one in Kasey Kho.

Dumaguete and Bohol took the other slots. From Dumaguete are Zoe Emilia Menguito, Margareth Chiong, Hywell Ramacho, Jason Bilangdal and Julius Cristi.
