Tubil Bar vs. Medallon in Power Ball caging

Tubil Bar and Medallon Transport will slug it out for the knockout final of the Power Ball Invitational Tournament after thrashing separate rivals in last Sunday’s games at the CEC gym.

Tubil Bar manhandled Yes Marketing 86-63 while the Medallon Transport eked out a 74-71 win over 100 Plus Isotonic Drink.

Tubil Bar and Medallon Transport finished 1-2 in the elimination round with a 5-0 and 4-1 cards, respectively. Tubil Bar, however, enjoys slight psychological edge over Medallon Transport going into the final after inflicting the latter’s only loss in the tournament.

The topseed showed versatility against Yes Marketing by finding ways to win despite missing point guard Jimbo Noel. Inting Reyes and Dodong Esma made up for Noel’s absence by contributing 16 points apiece for the important victory. Anthony Cenabre scored 24 points for Yes Marketing.
