Lim tops Prima bowlfest

Michelle Lim opened her bid in the 2008-bowling season with a bright note after winning the January edition of Prima Cebu Tenpin Bowling tournament at the Gaisano Bowlingplex in Banilad,

this city.

Lim, with an average scratch of 202.38, collected 1,811 pinfalls after eight games. She had high games of 275 pinfalls in Game 4 and 277 in Game 6.

Jomar Jumapao came in second with 1,740 pinfalls while PBC’s junior Bowler of the Year Kim Lao settled for third place after toppling 1,702 pins.

Lim, Jumapao and Lao received P3,000, P2,000 and P1,000, respectively from sponsor B. Benedicto and Sons Inc.

Rounding up the top 10 in the January ranking were Jacklynn Lim (1,680), John Gasataya (1,670), Clark Tiu (1,646), Docdoc Gothong (1,640), Celi Adolfo (1,602), Germaine Uang (1,584) and Wilbert Yu with 1,529 pinfalls.
