USJ-R, UC eye finals
The USJ-R/Bibbo Hotdog and the UC/Aspac Bank eye the finals as they try to close sweep separate rivals tonight in their best-of-three semifinals series in the Reinforced Partner’s Cup at the Mandaue City Sports and Cultural Complex.

USJ-R and UC both won their first games the other day to inch closer to a best-of-three finals showdown at the Mandaue Sports and
Jun Mar Fajardo, the 6’7” slotman of UC, again provided the difference as the Webmasters clobbered DBTC/Unilab-Alaxan 113-101 to take a 1-0 lead in their series.
Fajardo finished the game with 22 points while teammate Allan Abellanosa chipped in 20 points.
In the second game, USJ-R/Bibbo Hotdog was equally impressive in thrashing CIT/Metro Gaisano 98-82. Gudez, Justiniani and Malinao starred in USJ-R’s victory by scoring 21, 16 and 13 points, respectively.
