Jon-Jon Adlawan, a senior at the Sacred Heart School-Jesuit, is setting his sights on the FIM Motocross of Asia in Puerto Princessa next month.
Adlawan will represent the Philippines and hopes to make a better account of himself against the best of Asia this year. He will have the company of two other Cebuano riders in Glenn Aguilar and Kenneth San Andres and maybe more. That if other Cebuano riders could get enough sponsors to help defray the expenses, Jon Adlawan of PowerSports Racing said.
The other riders, however, will be competing in the national level, a preliminary event prior to the big Asian race.
Adlawan doesn’t want to miss this chance to represent the Philippines because the race is in the Philippines. He missed the competition last year due to conflict with his studies.—Caecent No-ot Magsumbol
