CBM finishes third in D’guete swimfest
The Cebu Blue Marlins sealed its bid in the 11th Negros Oriental Invitational Age-Group Swim Meet-Governor's Cup at the Gov. Lorenzo G. Teves Memorial Aqua Center in Dumaguete City at third place overall with a total of 43 golds, 45 silvers and 37 bronzes.
Despite lacking manpower, CBM coach Rolando Alvarez got an unexpected special award for producing the most number of bemedalled swimmers in different classes.
Coach Alvarez's wards utilized their time left the other day by hauling 15 more golds plus 29 silvers and 15 bronzes.

The rest of the swimmers' contribution in the final action were two silvers from Paula Abigail Vega, Israel David and Beth May Arellano, two bronzes from Robin Jacobsen, Arlette Baller and Trina Cañeda,a bronze from Kaitlin Capacio, a silver and a bronze from Michael David Vega and silver from Aimee Sanchez.
