Julia’s Resto scores back-to-back wins
Julia’s Resto posted back-to-back victories in the Lucky Tableware Regulars Basketball Tournament held at the Visayan Glass gym in Guadalupe, this city.
Julia’s latest victim was Yayoy’s Grill quintet, which they beat 53-45
The duo of Rory Raspie and Aldrin Fernandez sparked Julia’s attack in the first and second quarters as the team took a 23-16 lead.
Yayoy’s Grill, with Alex Move, Rocky Alcoseba and Gary Ferrer tried to rally their team in the second half but Julia’s Resto parried the attack with MJ Rodriguez and Michael Viliran providing the points.
Raspie and Fernandez finished the game with 15 and 12 points, respectively for the winners. Move scored 11 points for Yayoy’s Grill while Alcoseba and Ferrer had 10 points each.
