MOVE 5K, Camsfi Fund Run off today

Cebu’s running enthusiasts will be busy today as two events unfold in the city.

The MOVE 5-K Run and the 2nd Seminary Fund Run will almost simultaneously start, howbeit in separate venues.

The MOVE 5-K Run will start at around 6:00 from the Provincial Capitol Grounds while the Seminary Fund Run has its starting line at Sumilon Road of the Cebu Business Park.

Participants in the MOVE 5-K Run will have a 10-minute aerobics warm-up to the tune of “Move It,” the theme of the movie Madagascar. Citigym’s Anne Manubag will lead the warm-up exercises.

Top three finishers in the male and female divisions will receive P3,000, P2,000, and P1,000, respectively, while the top finishers in the wheelchair and amputee categories get P1,500, P1,000, and P500, respectively. — Caecent No-ot Magsumbol
