Dy wins November title

Mark Anthony Dy proved once again why he is considered as one of the best young guns of Cebu Country Club by taking the lowest gross honors in Saturday’s November Monthly Medal.

Dy fired one-under-par 71 strokes to bag the plum.

The class A title went to Raymond Garcia with a net score of 68 strokes off a gross 76 while runner-up honors went to George Hong with a net score of 70 off a gross 79.

Manabu Ichikawa topped class B with his tournament-best net score of 64 followed by Patrick Cymmon Go as runner-up with a net score of 66 strokes.

Willy Suarez won the class C plum shooting a net 67 while Juanito Uy was the runner-up with a net 70 after he edged Alvin Tan in the countback.

Faustino Froilan won the class D title with a net score of 68 while Serge Romero, who made a net 70 was the runner-up.

The seniors’ crown went to Albert Cang with his net score of 69 strokes while the runner-up was Maning Granada with a net 70 edging Jimmy Sy in the countback.

Shau Min Lo topped the guest division shooting a net score of 77 and edging runner-up finisher Gassy Lizares in the countback.  — NLQ
