SWU spoils USC in VAAA cagefest
The Warriors ruled the first three quarters of the game with two-time CESAFI MVP Rico Llanto, Nino Ramirez and rookie Cid Cortes combining for a 56-63 lead.
However, when the fourth quarter began, SWU made its move. Starring the foursome of Zanoria, Maguate, Belande and Poligrates, the Cobras sailed ahead.
CESAFI slam-dunk champion Eric Zanoria put an exclamation point to the win with a slam.
Zanoria led the Cobras with 19 points while Gianchand and Poligrates combined for 29 points.
Representative Eduardo “Eddie” Gullas, during his address, stressed seven points to basketball success.
