Balamban leads cluster III GUV Cup action

Team Balamban won two matches to lead the first day of cluster III championships in the 3rd Governor Gwen Garcia Unity Volleyball Cup For Women at the Aloguinsan Sports Complex.

Balamban opened their bid with a 25-17, 25-15 win against Barili. Two hours after, Balamban recorded a tough 3-set win against Tuburan, 25-12, 24-26, 25-17.

Host Aloguinsan, Tuburan and Barili are still in contention with similar 1-1 win-loss card. 

Aloguinsan won over Asturias, 25-15, 25-19, Tuburan beat Aloguinsan, 25-16, 23-25, 25-22 and Barili defeated Asturias 25-14, 25-9. — Caecent No-ot Magsumbol
