GUV Cup continues with cluster III action

The Governor Gwen Garcia Unity Volleyball Cup for Women resumes today with cluster III action at the Aloguinsan Sports Complex.

At stake is the cluster title that five teams - Asturias, Balamban, Barili, Tuburan and host Aloguinsan – will be battling for.

A title  means a ticket to the cluster championship set later this year. 

Aloguinsan starts its three-game gig by playing Asturias first then tackles Tuburan and Barili respectively.

Balamban and Barili will play two games. Balamban plays Barili for its first game and then mixes it up with Tuburan.

Barili will then play Asturias.

Asturias goes up against Balamban and then Barili plays Tuburan in tomorrow’s schedule while Aloguinsan meets Balamban.

The last game will be between Tuburan and Asturias.

Cluster II champion Badian and runner-up Oslob have already qualified for the cluster championship. — Caecent No-ot Magsumbol
