Korean Victor Mok and Kim Lao were the best in the September edition of the Bowlingplex Tenpin Association (BTA) Bowler of the Month tournament at the Gaisano Bowlingplex in Banilad, this city.
Mok took a time out from his English classes to show his bowling prowess by besting Bel Suelto in the final tally with 1,654 pinfalls against the latter’s 1,641.
August’s best, Rohan Ceniza could only score 1,633 to settle for third. Clarence Tiu was fourth with 1,591 and Walter Yu at fifth with 1,589.
In the women’s division, Lao rolled 1,753 to beat Alexi Sy, who scored 1,643.
Celi Adolfo (1,625), Xyrra Cabusas (1,570) and Bette Goyoco (1,357) round up the top five women bowlers for September. — Caecent No-ot Magsumbol.
