General Feeds rule Vice guv bowling

General Feeds ruled the team competition while Kim Lao and Alexis Sy won the doubles event in the 1st Vice Governor Sanchez Chinese-Taipei-Philippine Bowling Tournament at the Gaisano Bowlingplex in Banilad, this city, the other night.

General Feeds bannered by Art Areias, Jun Esteban, Joe Garces and Vivian Padawan tallied 3,284 pinfalls. Prima Pasta 1 with Clark Tiu, Junjun Gothong, Jomar Jumapao and Clarence Tiu wound up second with 3,196. Host Bowlingplex Tenpin Association-II took the bronze with 3,173 pinfalls scored by Lolong Uy, Bede Ilano, Wilbert Yu and Roger Adolfo.

Kim Lao and Alexis Sy of Prima Pasta team III averaged more than 200 in four games to collect 1,809 pinfalls to rule the doubles event. Clark Tiu and Junjun Gothong of Prima Pasta Team I took second place honors after garnering 1,743 pins while Phone and Gadgets’ Joseph Yu and Docdoc Gothong grabbed the third spot with 1,739 pinfalls.

The fourth to 10th placers (out of 24 squads) in the team competition are Vikings (3,171), Prima Pasta II (3,166), Albert Surplus I (3,074), BTA-I(3,071), Sulpicio Lines (3,045), MTBA(3,032) and BTA/DATBA(3,030). —Caecent No-ot Magsumbol
